Prayer Points

Join with us in praying for God’s work in the nations. By planting with us, also in prayer, you are advancing God’s kingdom to the ends of the earth. The breakthroughs we are experiencing can only come with prayer and perseverance as we seek God’s heart for the nations.

July

LATVIA

  1. Pray for wisdom, faith, and growth for the new Pastor Edgars Suraks, his wife Iveta, and two sons.
  2. Ask God for the harvest as they reach high school and university students through small groups and music outreach.
  3. Intercede for continual increase in provision and open doors for the church and the leadership team.
  4. Pray for clarity, refreshing, and retooling of Pastor Rommel and Ira and their three daughters during this season of transition in Manila, which includes preparation for missions in the U.K. (London) as part of the Every Nation team.

June

CAMBODIA

  1. Intercede for wisdom as we strategize and plan to effectively reach out the Cambodians with the gospel of Christ.
  2. Pray for unity of mind, heart, and spirit as well as for the good health and safety of members of the whole team.
  3. Pray for grace for our long-term workers in learning Khmer language.
  4. Pray for favor as we look for a place for our youth center.
  5. Pray for more long-term workers especially men.

May

HONG KONG / MACAU

  1. Intercede for long term visas to be granted to Pastor Gio Saynes and family.
  2. Pray for lasting fruit through EN HK’s “One Life to Live” campaign.  Pray that those who attended the services would be added to the church and discipled.
  3. Pray for the growth of our outreaches in the Tung Chung area and Lingnan University.
  4. Ask God for grace for our EN Macau members who were affected by the recession.  That their faith would remain strong and that more be added to the church.

April

THAILAND

  1. Pray for good health, protection, and provision for Pastor Jonas Bernales and his family. Pray for favor as their children start attending regular school this year.
  2. Intercede for the leaders in Every Nation Bangkok, for strength, comfort, and greater passion to share the gospel to the Thais.
  3. Pray for growth and multiplication of leaders in our campus ministry in Ramkhamhaeng University.

March

KYRGYZSTAN

  1. Ask God for grace and favor for our two disciples as they start a small group this week.
  2. Pray for Janeth, Dan, and Rodel to find favor with the Department of Foreign Affairs and be granted long term visas.
  3. Intercede for wisdom and favor as our staff facilitates the visas of our incoming workers.

February

VIETNAM

  1. Pray for all the leaders to have wisdom as they lead the center for 2010. Pray also for the four bridge events they have planned for this year.
  2. Pray that the students will have the opportunity to share about God’s love to their families and friends as they go on Vietnamese New Year vacation for two to three weeks.
  3. Intercede for provision for the the fifteen to twenty Vietnamese delegates they are believing to send to EN2010.
  4. Ask for abundant provision for their student center project.
  5. Pray for more young professionals to be added to the family as they are planning to double their services for them this April.
  6. Pray for more musicians to volunteer and be added to the family.
  7. Continue to pray for protection and good health for the leaders and their families.

January

BANGLADESH

  1. For the successful holding of their big meeting and fellowship in the 2nd week of March. (The idea is to bring all the saints from all their small groups in order to encourage them).
  2. Pray for missions team in one of the big cities there so that they can start a business very soon.
  3. Pray for the safety of “Manny” (a Bangladeshi, not his real name) and his new small group. He is looking after the work of a new small group in another city.
  4. Pray for “Nadine” (a Bangladeshi, not her real name) and her early recovery as she prepares for Gall Bladder surgery.
  5. Pray for a peaceful and new place where “Rodney” (a Bangladeshi, not his real name) can hold their small group meetings. There’s no longer favor in the old place they used to hold it.
  6. Pray for the successful holding of their Leadership Groups that it may prosper and develop more leaders.
  7. Pray for Rodney’s family as well. They fasted and prayed that God intervene in every area of work they are into. Please also remember “Minor” (a Bangladeshi, not his real name), he’s part of Rodney’s small group who is now hiding for some reason. He was involved in the bad business before he came to know Christ. Pray for his safety as well.

December

TAIWAN

  1. Pray for a team to be raised to support Pastor KC and Shichia Liu.
  2. Ask God for a worship leader and administrator to be added to the team.
  3. Pray for an opportunity to reach students in National Taiwan University.
  4. Intercede for students to be added and for more short-term mission teams from Every Nation churches worldwide.

November

MACAU

  1. Pray for long-term visas for Pastor Gio Saynes and family to be approved.
  2. Intercede for the speedy processing of the official registration of the church plant in Macau.
  3. Ask God for more locals to be added to the current core group of local Macanese, mainland Chinese, and Filipinos.
  4. Pray that the small groups will continue to grow.

October

KYRGYZSTAN

  1. Please pray for more long-term missionaries to be added to the team.
  2. Ask God to provide abundantly for the church planting team as they move to Kyrgyzstan.
  3. Intercede for those who received Christ to continue to grow and be established in the faith.
  4. Pray for the salvation of local friends and that they will be added into small groups.
